Married six years; 3 grown bio sons of 19, 19 and 24. full-time step-mom to SD 12 and SS 11. Worked great when kids were young; hormones and looming adolescence, combined with their BM's complete and total inability to recognize me as an equal member of the parenting triangle these kids answer to--me, him, and BM--have recently caused me to want to wash my hands of the entire mess.
