I am 32 and engaged to a great guy who has a 5 year old daughter. He lives with me and she is with us Tuesdays and Thursdays in the evening and 3 weekends of the month. I love children.

Hi! New here. Quick background - I have two boys ages 8 & 10 and married for two years and have a 10 yr. old SD. My SD was raised as a single child with her dad from birth to age 7.

Ex MIL exhibits symptoms of this problem. Just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this regarding a bio or another individual who had access to their children.

My boyfriend and I have been living together for almost 2 years. I have 2 bio kids aged 6 1/2 and 4. He has 2 boys aged 6 1/2 and 11. My oldest and his youngest are 6 days apart in age.

We have been together for 2 years, we met on the playground, started to see each other 2 months later, he was telling me it is like a dream for him, I am so prefect.

I have 2 kids and 2 step kids, all 4 live with me and my husband. My kids and my oldest step daughter are amazing kids and our life as a blended family is going pretty smooth.

So as I sit back and really question and reflect on what I am trying to be as a "stepmother" Im not sure what I am doing anymore.

I'm a stepmother of 2 girls and also a bio-mom of my two sons. I have many years of experience doing this (21+). Let's try to think from the child's perspective for a sec.

My step daughter keeps acting up in daycare and we have tried everything. i want her to have a good summer but she wants to go back because she keeps acting up and getting in trouble. i need help.
