I've been spending my afternoons at the pool for the past few weeks. Not really my favorite place in the world, but my DD wants to go and it's summer.

This is pretty personal but I'm meaning it in a vague way but what arrangement do you & your DH/DW have with the ex (who has the kids or shares custody or you have full custody etc).

My ex-H and I don’t have a CO in place. We never felt the need to have a judge tell us what we can and can’t do in regards to our daughter.

Does anyone else have a BM that treats SK like nothing more than an item to show off? she takes her to concerts, dresses her in expensive clothing...

I'm just curious...

Our BM is newly married to a guy who has 3 kids with 2 other women.

So he has 5 kids total with 3 women.. such a prize... (he has one with our BM and one on the way)

Last night BM calls DH saying SS wanted to go to neighbors house and she said no he needed to come home and shower. He started screaming an crying and kicking her. So she calls DH for help.

My 5 year old step daughter started living with us full time last month because of problems that her mother is having.

Does anyone else have a BM that treats SK like nothing more than an item to show off? she takes her to concerts, dresses her in expensive clothing...

DH and I have decided not to talk about BM anymore. It had become a habit (mostly for me). From now on, I will draft the occasional email for DH to send her to coordinate scheduling, etc.
