I can't find where this was discussed... Along the lines of ..Us questioning our DH's after they talk to their x wives. What did she want? What did you say to that? etc.... And how they say 'nothing' or don't spill their guts to us alot of the time...(not my situation so much but some of my friends here and home)
WELL...I feel like I walked in thier shoes this weekend!!! I think I know exactly how they feel!!
MY MOTHER IS DOING THIS TO ME MORE & MORE!!!!!!!!!!!! IT is sooooooo annoying!
If I'm telling her about an 'event' where my X's name is mentioned in passing .....well the third degree starts!! What is he doing for vacation/was GF there...where does she work now...are they going here/there..ON & ON it goes!!
I've said a million times....
OMG!!!! HOW THE HELL SHOULD I KNOW!!!!
I'm not their buddy!!! We don't hang out together!!! I don't involve myself in their business!!! I don't ask!!! I don't know her bosses name!!! We speak when we have to.......that's it!!!!!!
And no matter how many times I tell my mother....I do not know what goes on in his life!!!....I do not care!!! I do not ask!!!
I get the third degree....every time..and sometimes several times during the course of a phone conversation....
.....if this is why DH's are annoyed by our questions regarding the x.
..at least partially....
.......I understand totally where their coming from!!!!!!!
