In the last 4yrs sd has been sent home from school with ( brace yourselves) head lice. 
Once though it was really dandruff that was so bad you couldn't see her scalp. I realize that this can be a problem with preschoolers and very small children but she is 19 in 2 weeks. I had NEVER had a problem with lice when I was in school and neither did my boys. What got me poed was H didn't tell me the real reason she got sent home right away. The last time this happened she went to MIL and gave her, her husband and dog lice. H didn't want to tell her what had happened and I made him, now she won't let sd in her house. I can't blame her. Thankfully I'm so ocd that nothing got loose into my house or on me. It was all confined in sd's room. I still had an exterminator over and a cleaning company come in and disinfect everything and took my dog to the vet and got her dipped. Yet I'm not supposed to be upset. He still expects me to let her use my blowdryer and hot rollers any time she wants. 
Like that's ever going to happen. I keep all my things locked up now and hide the key. That's so depressing to have to live like that. 
If I didn't sd would rob me blind and he would let her. Sometimes I feel like H doesn't want me to have anything of my own. For instance today I bought a lottery ticket and I said when I win and get rich I'm going to buy myself either a yorkie or cavalier puppy. 
He informs me that he can't let me do that. WTF It would upset sd if I had another dog. Big whoop, she doesn't have anything to do with my dog now. Like I've said before H is a BIG MONKEY BUTT!!! I only bought the ticket for fun but if I ever did win I'd look like the roadrunner I'd be out of here so fast.

(the Yorkie or Cavalier) IF you win the lottery...oh my goodness, is he reaching for things to fight about or what??? Next thing ya know, he'll be throwing eggshells on the floor like my H did last week. Girl, we are both in relationships with ultra disturbed men.
You and I need to make a little pact. How about, you pray that I win the lottery, I pray that you win the lottery. Should I win, you get a plane ticket here, my H gets the boot. Should you win, I get a plane ticket there, your H gets the boot (by the way, skids go with H's). But remember, no telling H if you win!!!

He can't tell you what to do with your money weather it is won or worked for. My BF is the same. I purchased some new small bits of furniture lately and BF said to me so if something happens and we don't work out (we are going through a very rough patch lately)does that mean I have to pay you for what you brought. Hell no I said (he smiled thinking ohhh isn't she sweet until I ended it with...)what I buy goes where ever I go, there is no ring on this finger so I'm not sharing. The look on his face.... priceless.
I'm off to buy a lotto ticket tonight now and if I win, I'll buy you both a ticket and you guys can come and stay with me at at a skids and male free house.

Sorry things aren't going grand for you right now-hopefully your bf will wake up before things get to tough. Wish my H was still a bf...I'd be finding a new one right off.
Can't believe he thought you'd just leave your furnishings with him-on second thought, I can believe it. I'm thinkin' perhaps these men were all dropped on their heads at birth-and with my H, the doc must've dropped him again when he went to pick him up off the floor!

wait so you, the grown, contributing adult, cannot have another dog b/c it will upset the 19 yr old freeloader????? AS soon as she starts paying rent,bills and groceries, (or hell freezes over, which I'm sure is more likely) her feelings on such a thing might be taken into consideration on such a decision. Otherwise, don't let the door kit your little princess butt on the way out!!!!
