Today was pretty productive, inspite of yet another migraine.
The bad news? If I split from H right now, I'm screwed. I'm deeper in debt, no job, no promising job leads, not married long enough for support.
The good news? I've been advised to "detach" emotionally from H (gee, life's pretty bad when detaching from your husband is good news), get on with the schooling plan, focus on that and not on H. With him working out of state, and me busy with schooling, there will be alot less interaction. Online prereqs begin in January! I'm excited about that-I can get A&P done by May, in May take Med. Term. and be ready for fall classes!
I see my Dr. tomorrow about the migraines-I seem to be having them everytime H and I have been together for a couple of days, so I know it's stress bringing them on.
I don't know if this will all work out-but I know what to do if H turns physical. And the thought of rebuilding my life, better than it has been in over a decade, excites me. Once I start classes and H wants me to cater to SD17, I'll just say sorry, I have to cram for an exam...

I believe you have made one of the best decisions of your life. I had to detach from my xh so I could go to school. Worked out very well and to my advantage in the future when we broke up. I was able to support myself and my children.
Don't forget to detach from SD17 as well!
