when my sd turned 16, I sent her a beautiful gift basket that I made myself, it took weeks to complete it, and I was in a shelter at the time, and did not have much $$. It came out so great, that now family members want me to make more (i took pic's of SD basket when it was done) I NEVER GOT A THANK YOU, or any reference at all for that gift. So I say screw 'em!"~waiting on the world to change~"

My SD celebrated her sweet 16 by losing her 'innocence', then writing about it on the internet. -! disgusting, right! If she acts sweet 16, that is one thing, but if she doesn't, she should not be celebrated for it. Of course your SD's bad behavior may not be as bad?

It is hard to know what to do. We were still kind of in denial and did not know everything at the point of her birthday, but that was the last one where we gave her a special present wrapped and everything (but only one year has passed since then). I have no plans to buy any more any time soon at this point! So I guess I wasn't much help, sorry honey! but just to compare notes helps sometimes

thanks for the support and yep its hard, i know she doesnt deserve anything.
As for sweet 16 we know shes not as what she's done to the young man( we still havent heard yet if he has been charged ) but we did find out she was having sex between the age of 13 /14 while still residing with her bm! it's all so sad.
