Mark it down...A VICTORY for a Dad!

Hi all! Just wanted to share something good that I learned this weekend.

You all know my H and I are going back to court for 50/50 physical of my ss. We have answered all of our discovery questions and got all our documents together. Now BM gets her papers and has to answer her questions....OH BOY! They are pretty harsh and to the point about her violence and trash talking H to his son. Anyway to my point my step-brother just went to court Friday over his 4 year old little girl. He went back about a year ago to get visitation started. He still lives with my dad and step-mom. Anyway he has a bad past with DUI's and some other crap but has been doing real well and changed things around. So they went to court Friday and what about the judge gave him 50/50 physical custody of his daughter! For one I am so super excited for my step-brother. The little girl is so sweet and looks like Strawberry Shortcake! She deserves to get to see all us of more too. Secondly I am excited because he went to court in the same county that we went in and saw the judge we will see and his lawyer is the same as ours! So it makes me happy to know they(the courts) for one are open to the 50/50 arrangement!

thought I would share the big victory of one dad in this whole game!

Glad ST is back up... I sure have missed it!

I hope that happens to us too

That's wonderful. Kids need both parents.

Wonderful news for your step-brother

It's good to hear that the courts sometimes can see past all the BS, anger, and nonsense and, for a change, have the best interest of the CHILD at heart!
