Hi everyone.. as promised, I am going to update you on the latest dr. appt I had. This u/s showed that I am pregnant w/twins. That said, one is thriving and the other is not. I heard the heartbeat of baby A this morning in the dr's office and I CRIED.. omg.. its was the most amazing sound I have ever heard. Baby B, they could not detect a heartbeat. They said that Baby B is about a week behind Baby A.
So.. the good news, is that at least one is viable. the not so good news is that I may lose one of them. I hope that is not the case...
I have a follow up w/my regular OBGYN dr on 9/22 to have another u/s to see if both have grown by almost 2 weeks, or if just Baby A is progressing. I am keeping faith and hope that Baby B makes it as well, and just was late implanting...
Of course, to be said.. if I come out of this with only 1 baby, I will be THRILLED, but am hoping for the two. Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst!!
Thank you to all that have kept me and my pregnancy in your thoughts. Oh.. and the due date is 5/3/09.

My twins are 21 now . . .
Seeing you call them Babies A and B brought back so many memories. And what's funny is that my Baby A is a real type-A personality, and Baby B is so very, very laid back. Even though they are identical. Keep us posted.

I'm SURE that helps. Send love to both babies. My mother-in-law used to talk to my stomach (she lives 4.5 hours from us) while I was pregnant with both my girls, and now they LOVE her even though they only see her twice a year. She's sure it's because she "communicated" with them while they were in utero.
I understand that sometimes one twin lags the other developmentally. I was reading an article about Nancy Grace recently, and one of her twins was HALF the size of the other when it was born. Congrats on the babies!

I am still on cloud nine. DH was at work when I had the appt, and has not been able to respond to my text. He is in the military and out doing manuevers..
I am sure he will be a bit surprised, although.. I dont know why?? He has twins, and twins run in his family AND in mine!!

You are in my prayers
With my oldest I was told that I would more than likely loose him because my hcg levels dropped but I prayed and prayed and basically laid in bed for days doing nothing but wishing and praying him okay...and he is now 7 years old and the kindest child of mine.
No matter what happens you will be in my prayers and I too believe that positive thoughts prevail!!
