OMG it was great, and psychotic all at the same time. FH left his phone here while he went to Karate class with FSS7 and FSS4. And of course she called and called and called annoying the hell out of me...
So yes I did it. I knew I would get in trouble with FH got home...but I answered the phone. I just wanted to let her know that FH and skids would not be home til way late tonight so she would stop calling.
The conversation wasn't much.
Me: hello
Her: I'm looking for (FH)
Me: He's not here, he's at karate class.
Her: and MY kids?
Me: They are at karate class...both of them
(it occurs to me then that FSD2 is not mine, and I add...)
Me: Oh, FSD2 is here.
Her: then may I speak to her?
Me: sure
FSD2 takes phone around for awhile, gets bored and then closes phone and hangs up on her.
I stressed myself out knowing FH did not want me to answer his phone when she calls, but gosh darnit I was sick of it ringing. So here I am stressing about what he will say...he gets his phone, checks it, and calls up for FSS4 to talk to her, FSS7 was still at karate for another hour. He starts yelling, and then hangs up with her. Then he hangs out near me for a bit and finally says "can I ask you something?"
Uh oh, this is it I thought. I'm about to get in trouble. "what did my crazy psychotic ex say to you?"
Huh? This is not what I expected, ever the cautious one I respond "why?"
"well....she said 'The OTHER one answered the phone, and I told her I am still in love with you, so have fun tonight'"
Interesting....I started laughing. "Uh...no...she didnt say anything like that." I outlined the entire conversation, he swore a few times at her for trying to cause drama, and that was the end of it. Weird...she got herself in trouble...and spared me being in trouble.
Then he adds "just so you know your ex could call 100 times, and I would never answer it."
I responded "the difference is my ex could call 1000 times, and you could answer it 1000 times, and I wouldn't care at all."

And why not if she is being that persistant, and what if she started to think the worst. Perhaps next time he should be more careful and take the phone WITH HIM!!!

because then she calls him and causes drama. Big deal in my opinion. I wouldn't put up with this crap, but hes so terrified one wrong step will take away his sole and physical. Shes in such big trouble in two states with CSD i see no reason why a judge would ever award her more time.

He kept his mouth shut after that. I will make sure when we switch to a home phone and change the cell numbers so she does not have them I answer every single time I can get away with...after all it is MY house

He's never said DON'T answer the phone but he's never said I could.I'd love to, she won't call the house, you've done what probably 100 of us would want to do.I'll have to try it sometime just to see whay happens :> thats awsome
