Has anyone had experience with an in-home custody evaluation? My BF and I just recently had one by someone, because my BF is trying to get more time with his son. Once the evaluation is done what happens?
What if his psyco posessive liar of an EX won't agree to more time? Does this have to finish in court and if it does will the judge take the assessors word over his EX?
Any advice regarding this would help. I somewhat hope it goes to court cause she lied on her evaluation by saying that my BF was her first relationship, when in face she was engaged and pregnant with someone else.
After the evaluation....
The evaluator prepares a report on what he/she thinks is best for child(ren). It doesn't matter if the EX won't agree to more time...if more time with father is in the best interests of kids, the judge will go with what the evaluator suggests (in most cases). GOOD LUCK!
