Im so excited. I can't believe that I get to meet some of you ST friends. We are going to have a great time - No Steps for the whole weekend !! No BM for the whole weekend! And the best part, we can sit around and laugh and cry and bitch and not feel guilty about it. Did I mention wine and smores and everything in between.

I'll be there on Saturday. We're spending the first night (Thursday) n Mississippi. I'm treating DH to a casino night since he's been so "good". Friday, we want to go to Beale Street, see some downtown things, and help them plan what they're going to do on Saturday without me. I may see if I can get hold of Need2Vent. When you live this far away from everything
you have to choice but to fly. I have been travelling on overseas flights since I was 2 years old and moved to Fiji. So I'm cool with flying. DH has not travelled much and can get a bit pale faced when there is turbulence
The coolest thing that has ever happened to me was once when I woke up at dawn and my flight was passing over Moscow (I have a friend there). The world looked so beautiful out my window, and I felt such a thrill of happiness and excitement to be travelling alone on the other side of the world.
Sita - you build up the courage (it is really very safe) to get here, and I will show you around.

All I could think about was what we were going to eat and drink. I didn't think far enough ahead to plan for BM pinatas. This will be a festival to be reckoned with. He he he

DH has agreed to come to Melbourne when you guys are next there, he said yeah that'd be fun!! So tell me when you are going are we're there!! Make it summer please!! Melbourne is tooo cold.
But it's actually been really cold days have been 17C this year...BRRRRRRR anything under 28C is cold to me!!

DH and I did Melbourne last time.
He hasn't been to Sydney before, so we could do that? We would probably do a three or four day weekend (including flying days), depends on work load. Told DH and he is really excited, thinks it would be awesome. WE'RE IN!

Since stepwitch is heading things up and you'll have a full on brain trust why don't you work on putting together some kind of potion we can give to step-kids to make them not be so difficult... and maybe one that will make husbands/boyfriends stand up to BMs... hey, how about some kind of herbal remedy that can be sprinkled at the doorstep that makes everyone who crosses through it nice and respectful? I'll leave the details to all of you but PLEASE take good notes on the recipe!
