I just got IMed by my BF that he has picked up the youngest SS 5 1/2 (he couldn't wait for BM to drop him off at 6:30)
Normally he'll IM me back and forth when he gets out of work, but b/c the little "angel" is there, it will completely monopolize all of his time.
My poor fur babies will go into hiding, especially the youngest one with the heart condition. I feel so bad for them when the hellions are at my house. I actually apologize and reassure them when the horrid little oafs are gone!!! It takes the youngest cat about 4 hours after they've left to be reassured enough to walk about the house again!!
Needless to say, I'll be taking "the long way home" stopping at various stores etc.
As other bloggers have noted with their DHs/BFs, he becomes strangely mesmorized when skids or in this case skid comes over and can be talked into anything/completely manipulated by skids!
The older two have had enough of "crayon's work camp" so they decided to "pass" as BF lets them do so. Possibly a blessing in disguise for me.
I'll be stopping by the liquor store to pick up some extra "fortification" for the weekend of hell, heh heh!
The new job is great! Lots of variety, shorter commute and seemingly less of a workload! The location is SUPERB! Right next to the biggest mall in the 5 county area! So much better than the inner city area with nothing to do and having to pay for parking!
