Things are quiet with me

You know, things have been so peaceful at my house with SD15 residing primarily with BM. Don't know how things are going at BM's house, and don't care!

We now have SD every other weekend for the summer. Much more manageable for my stress level! Plus, we have her this weekend but I will be out of town for work. So I will not see SD for a month. Yay me!

I think both husband and SD are biding their time until they come up with a permanent custody arrangement. Until then he and she are going through the motions. He's taking her to see his parents (along with BDs 4 and 2) this weekend. Good luck! SD is so used to having everything be "all about her" that it will be a rude awakening. Usually I am there and husband can focus about 90 percent on SD. Won't be the case this time.

All I can hope is that the custody arrangement is similar to what we had this summer and SD will indeed reside primarily with BM. BM has sent her back to us in the past because of her attitude, so I hope that doesn't happen again. Husband always takes her back in because she is his child, but it doesn't do any positive things for our relationship.

So, I will be off line for more than a week. I will miss the camaraderie and sympathy on this site, which I don't get in "real life."

I KNOW I KNOW! Me TOO Me TOO!

My vacation ends in less than two weeks.

I am trying like hell to keep up my new positive outlook. It was a much needed break for us all.

Don't know if anyone noticed the lack of vents on my part. Life is beautiful indeed.

Yeah, it IS more

peaceful when they are with their respective bm's or bd's. My house has been the center of all peacefulness since SD moved out in Feb. I wish peace like that for all my sisters...... Eye-wink

Enjoy your break!

Even a weekend away for work is still a weekend AWAY!
