All I can think about is that song off of the Free Credit Reports commericial. You know the one where the guy is so broke he has to work as a pirate in a restaraunt!! Maybe she couldn't afford a real wedding.

She thinks of herself as a creative person, a free thinker, she designs OFFICE SPACES but thinks she's an artist. lol. I guess this is one of her expressive things?

It does seem very apropos though. Seems BM "pirated" her (Ex?) Best friend's ex H from her yes?

"Wife Swap" episodes. (Of course many of those are bizarre!) One they played Pirates all the time. On another I think there was a Medieval theme to the household.

If she's so creative and artistic (and out of touch with reality) I wonder if she's going to turn their home into a "pirate ship"...I saw those episodes of wife swap that Sita Tara is talking about...she could be heading in that direction.

it wouldn't surprise me if she did go all pirate on everyone. She confided in DH that she 'has a world with all these characters that she goes to a lot'. Maybe Peter Pan and Captain Hook are part of that world? I have no clue...but I'm glad we got married properly with a beautiful meaningful wedding. My skids have seen proper and well....very improper and tacky. But they will enjoy the pirate thing, they're really young. This way they can say 'when I get married I'm going to dress up as Aladdin!'.

She's very out of touch with reality. When DH lived with her in our old house she was really 'creative & expressive' and showed it by painting each room a different neon colour. The kitchen was neon red, the family room neon blue, the bedroom neon purple, and the hallway neon green. I saw the photos. She is like a bad version of Debbie Travis or something.

Now they've bought a house but have to sell their old one. But she's painted the hallway neon blue again so I can only imagine what the psycho did to the rest of the house. Good luck selling it for a good price looking like that.

Well as long as they don't view your DH's wallet as a treasure chest.

BM1 walked down the aisle (in her back yard) to Metallica's Enter Sandman, the words of which go:

It STILL cracks us up, and DH often sings the song under his breath when having to deal with BM1. We also sing it whenever we hear about BM1 being horrible to to her new hubby - clearly she gave him fair warning by playing that song as she walked down the aisle!!

By the way - I walked down the aisle to SONGBIRD by EVA CASSIDY. I cry every time I hear it. Has anyone else heard her version?

I walked down to Sting- you were meant for me, BB has never seen an aisle but she did go to the court house with the first guy that wouldn't jump out of the moving car to avoid it!
