Did you say you're in TN? I believe I drove this in about 7 hours from where I am in Oklahoma. Of course, it was an emergency - my sister had been struck by lightening - and we we're hauling ass to get there. But I believe it was in Memphis where we went to the Elvis Presley Burn Center and I swear I drove it in that time. Does that sound possible?

The Med in Memphis is one of the best burn units in the country, believe it or not!!.. I in Illinois for a few days, pretty close to Terre Haute, In and drove home in 5 1/2 hours. Pick a date - please.

I am leaning toward 8/8- 8/10
My plan is to take SD and Anna to inlaws for the weekend, meet up with "Sarabernheart" and drive together onto Nashville. Since SD is still in TX with my SIL/BIL, then will be spending a week with my MIL/FIL, I think 7/25 will be too soon for her to go back on a trip. She finally admits to being homesick (only took about 6 weeks!)
I still need to double check with my MIL on whether this will work for them with their work schedule and all. AND it will depend if "SB" is available that weekend.

I grew up in Illinois. Cabin is south of Brownsville and north of memphis. Not a bad drive at all, except for the southern Illinois troopers, that love to run radar.

How many beds are there? I'm booked for the rest of the month but I think it would be rocking to see the faces of all you gals who have supported me through thick and thin. I've been so stressed out lately, I'm putting on weight and drinking wine like a fish, or better described as pouring it down my mouth like my body is a barrel. It's starting to look like one too.

Who's gonna sleep anyway!! For real there are two bedrooms, both which have full size beds. One has a sleeper daybed that also folds out. There are two futons in the living room that makes into full size beds. There is a fold out full size bed on the screened-in porch that we can bring into the cabin somewhere. I have a yukon too. Anyway, we can make space. I hope you can come. Wow, won't it be great.

Are there any hotels/motels nearby? If there are too many people, some might opt to get a motel room and just meet up.

Memphis is probably your best bet, but Jackson, TN is another option. I did see a bread and breakfeast in Brownsville. It looked really nice. I'm not sure of the name, though - Maybe you can find it by google. Let me know. I'm sure there will be plenty of room though.

For me...
whichever is cheaper. Springs actually was cheaper than DIA for Memphis when I checked. But I would LOVE to have someone to fly with. Seriously.
