Quick update. Busted husband having a text message "friendship" with a woman from his work that lasted about 4 months or so. He has convinced me against my better judgement that they are friends and his only problem was ot letting me know of the friendship. PROBLEM: right now as I type this he is in the shower getting ready to go to her house for another coworkers engagement party. He said I was invited but to no surprise it is way to late to get a babysitter. That is right I have my two kids and his son with me tonight. Part of me wants him to go ... am I sick or what! The other side asks is he seriously going to walk out that door. I point blank asked him if I didn't know about the calls would you be going. He said he would be and that is why he is going. I can put my foot down and say hell no you are not going but I am too tierd for that crap. Go have a good time. I just do not know how to deal with my feelings. Mainly because I can not sort them out. Any suggestions? Thanks

If you think there's more to it than he says....tell him how you feel and ask him if the situation were reversed....how would he feel about it???? Tell him that if they are just friends then he shouldn't be going without you.....especially while you are watching his son!!!

I say get the kids together and follow him. Go check it out. If they are alone go knock on the door and tell her, "Are you ready to be a stepmother?" Then turn and walk away leaving them with all the kids or just his son.

I like SkyDreamer's idea, but you know what? Kids talk. It'll get bakc to him that you checked him out and if he's innocent, you'll feel like (and look like) an ass. Do you have a girlfriend you can invite over to watch a movie with? And then leave her with the kids while you go out and get ice cream or something? You can do a quick drive-by and find out the same thing without the kids finding out and reporting back.

Having you convinced they are just friends so now if you don't want him anywhere near the woman you are the jealous insecure one. He should be saying "Honey I will have NOTHING to do with this woman anymore outside of work because you mean more to me than this woman" Now he gets to have a relationship right in front of you for the world to see. I wouldn't have it. He shouldn't be leaving you and his child with you to go to a party at her house. This man needs to be smacked upside the side of his head with my cast iron frying pan!!!

I don't know...I can understand a man having a friend and all but behind your back,..I agree with Cru there, but, more to the point, I woud be more concerned with how you are feeling??
My DH and I are having a rough spot right now and I won't go into it but we are arguing alot lately, I told him that its when I stop yelling you need to be concerned...Girl if you don't care no more and are tired and sick of the crap to the point you are happy to be left at home with not only your kids but his...It's my feeling you are all but over it...yes?
