Ironically
I have a copy of BM's will when she was married to DH. I am just going to type it out and replace my info. I know the will was done by an Attorney.

Just a word of advice with Wills and Estate Planning
Just FYI...
Our attorney told us that each state has specific laws regarding Wills and Estate Planning. State laws can superseed Wills if they are not properly filed or if they conflict with the state requirements. Just be careful.

Thanks -
I didn't know that each state had a different requirement. I will definitely check into what ours are. I've seen silly things on tv where someone writes it out on a napkin and it's accepted.... I know that won't be the case!
Is was good advice
My Dh has a son that has been in and out of jail for years. We did not want to include him in our Wills. However, our attny advised us to inlude him or make sure that we mention him and that he is to receive nothing from our estate. He said if we didn't and the estate is challenged he could say that we "forgot" to include him and he could sue the other kids for his part and possibly win. I would have never thought that but it has happened before, just better to cover all the bases. Good luck to you with yours.

Yes, you must...
Mention EVERY kid, even if they are not getting anything. Evil (not really evil:) is right on!
