I guess it's a personal thing really.
You can just post in the discussion forums if you want, or just a blog or both.
There's no real rules on it.
The personal blogs I think are more of a way to tell a continuous story of
your own step parenting experience, while the discussion forums are just that,
a place to discuss topics that you want to talk about.
