Anyone else watching this? They have an evil SD plot line going that is very interesting. And the SM is Lynette (Felicity Huffman) who is so real in this depiction of a SM trying so hard to accept this child, who's crazy mom passed away after trying to wreak havoc on their lives. Meanwhile the child is up to no good.

Just wondered if anyone else was following. The last episode is airing this Sunday.

Big fan

of Desperate Housewives. What really hit home was how blind Tom was to this even when his other child got hurt or when she threatened Penny. I don't understand how blinded some people can be by what has to be guilt.

Yes!

I'm watching it. The SD really is a mess! I guess I'm thankful my SD's aren't calling anyone with lies like she did on the show Eye-wink

It's been a while

I use to watch regularly but havn't for a while now. I didn't even realize that Lynette was divorced. I can't remember the husband's name. Where did he go?

Lynette's not divorced

This kid is from a woman from Tom's past. I wasn't watching regularly when the character showed up with her tweener something daughter and demanded Tom step up. Then the BM went nuts and tried to infiltrate their family. Lynette went through a lot trying to balance accepting the SD AND not losing it with the BM. They killed the BM off sometime ago, and now Tom, Lynette and their boys are having to deal with SD full time. And SD is acting like BM was- false reports of abuse from Lynette, manipulating and emotional blackmailing Lynette and Tom. A few episodes ago the SD got the boys to burn down a building, and tricked them into thinking she jumped off the roof with an umbrella so they would try it. One of the boys broke his arm trying.

Lynette's onto her, but Tom thinks Lynette is exaggerating and making it all up. VERY good story line.

Ha ha Freudian slip

"They killed the BM off sometime ago, and now Tom, Lynette and their boys are having to deal with SD full time."

I must be living vicariously through the show. By "they" killing BM off I meant the writers of Desperate Housewives, not Lynette and Tom!

Ahh, I see

I think I may have to start watching again. I had no idea! Wow.

Thanks for the update. Smiling

authentic story line...

I haven't watched either, but started when my sister called and told me to start watching immediately. When I asked why, she said, "Not a fairy tale (indicating the wicked step-mom) -- REALITY!" My sis has been my biggest supporter in dealing with all the manipulative evil!

Sorry...

I put underscores in the title of this post so a search for the show wouldn't bring people here. I didn't know it would re-post it!

Though that title is definitely reflective of how I feel today.
