I only have one. But I believe this is the core problem.
She is my husband's ONLY child. This is why she gets ALL the attention. If I have more than one stepchild, I believe nobody would get his attention 100%.
My stepkid is a good child, I like her a lot. But still, since I am pregnant now, I feel my feeling of her is changing little by little. I just want to spend all the time with my unborn, buy diapers, baby food, little shoes and clothes, I feel I have no time for my stepkid anymore.
We used to do art projects together and I enjoyed spending time with her, but now, she still expects me to do all the stuff I used to do. I am physically unable of those anymore. I told her that I need to rest, she would make faces or report it to her father. Very frustrating and a little annoying.
I know the little girl needs attention, but since she is the only child right now, she is very spoiled. Hope things will change very soon when my little one comes along. I hope my stepkid can be the old sister she is suppose to be. I guess only time can tell.
