On cue, we have the summer mayhem happening this year. It's not really bad, but it sure is damn annoying and you know. I like to b!tch about it to a wider group of ladies who have "been there, done that" and certainly can relate to my whining- instead of my husband. LMAO!!!
I've put up with a lot in the years, and sadly, of course any 'step' relationship you encounter just means that you'll eventually put up with more- forever it seems.
Oh I could go on and on and on about the stupid idiotic things BM1 has done lately, but it would take forever and a day, so I'll leave you with the most irritable grip I have to date.
SS's BM planned and bought flight tickets out of state, taking her entire litter with her, including SS, to TN this summer. Okay, that's great, but could you have called us BEFORE YOU PURCHASED THE TICKETS on OUR WEEK!!!!! I mean, how rude. Just because originally you told us you were planning a trip to TN in JUNE, during your week and that it may over lap a couple of our days, did not mean that it was okay to "just make plans." for whenever you need... Hello.

This is the time of the year BM tries to make our life hell. This is when the threats start etc. The funny thing is she intentially makes it impossible for us to send the children every year to her. I can go on forever about his bitch too.
Seems to me DH should have a say so on this one!!

What happened is that she scheduled this trip during our week, Tues- Sat, wants to keep him Sun too. We are on a week to week basis now, picking & dropping SS up on Mondays. The stupid thing is that apparently, she thinks she's going to drop him off at our house on Monday, turn around and pick him up early Tuesday, and they leave for TN on Wed.... um... ooookkkaaaaiiieeee? (So basically, we get one day with him for our week.)
Then arbitrarily decided that she would just drop SS off at our home the next Monday. Well, the problem with that was that because we were originally told that she was planning for June, we went ahead and scheduled out our vacation plans for July. We have a camping trip during OUR week in July, so we just thinks that she can "swap" the weeks, and everything will be dandy. Well... NO.
So, basically, she's going to have to keep SS for two weeks, and we're going to keep him for two weeks to get us back on track... but it would have been soo much easier if she CALLED us BEFORE she booked this flight, because I was making plans for the Fourth of July weekend. Aggghhhh!
