Exactly. I am still madly in love with my DH and I know he loves me. The damage done by his and BM's parenting of SD16 has been like a tide working against us. So many unhappy times in the midst of so much love and happiness.
You would not recommend it to your sibling or best friend that is for sure.

Good advice! Although sometimes, fate just pukes on you anyway. In our situation, we were happily 1st time married (both of us!) for 5 years before we got a call from the welfare office- some lady had named my husband and 5 others as potential fathers of her 10 year old kid!! She apparently had partied all the week with several one night stands. Her boyfriend had left her so she was grasping at staws for child support. Well lucky, lucky me, I won the welfare lotto that year! Good news is, I made him run out immediately for STD tests, and they were all clean. So no bonus prizes at least.
