The situations we wind up in are so common, why hasn't there been a reality show about them? Why does it take a forum on the internet for so many women to realize how common their situations are? Step-parenting should be illegal. You get divorced you stay a single parent until they're 18. Both parents and no live-ins.

Wounded children of divorce,
Wounded children of divorce, hmmm. I know a few couples who managed to co-parent and raise beautiful well adjusted kids. I was a SD myself and learned first hand what NOT to do as a SM, yet SD still turned on me acting as if I had no place in "HER" family. Nope, it is not the Step parent always.... sometimes the SK's are just plain idiots.
