Oh God I am right there with you. Somehow we have regular visitation PLUS every SINGLE day from now until July 5... when does BM get this kid, again??

Yeah, I was going to try to take some time off of working at the shelter so that I could spend more time with my DH.

Guess not.

Instead, I guess that I'll be asking to see if they need me even more.

I feel for you. School is almost over...what am I going to do with it for two months. My SD has only seen her BM a handful of times in three years. No reprieve there.

OSD and her baby come for

OSD and her baby come for three week visits soon. I really do not mind a grand-baby at all as she is adorable.

I mind OSD being here for that long. DH said "OMG she will be driving us crazy for three weeks". AND THAT'S HIS OWN KID. And BM lives few blocks away but they are currently estranged so it will be 24/7 with us.

Just keep yourself busy, and repeat "It's temporary, it's temporary" over and over as needed. I do this myself and I'm a custodial SM. Luckily, I did get a break this summer.
