Lose your identity and let them swallow you alive. (Maintain your friendships and activities outside of your step family.)

Allowing BM to hurt you through SKids....

Allow other people to make decisions that impact your life. If it affects you, you have the right to input in the decision. PERIOD.

I think that marrying someone with kids is in itself the worst thing you can do, period.

Allow BM to occupy your thoughts, manipulate your feelings, create constant drama in your life.
