I chose laughter and tears because that's what this life is all about to me. That no matter what I do for SS19 and SD16. Wether it be to clothe, feed, support in any sports event or school function, play taxi cab, Dr. Appt's, or anything else that would require me to take care of or provide for them....in thier minds I will never be their momma. No matter what I do. Never mind the fact that the BB has pretty much done nothing for them, sign them over willingly and pays no support at all, pretty much shows up when it is convenient for her. which isn't often.But ready to start mess when she does.
Hence the nickname "Not The Momma!"

Called It Takes Two. In that movie the twins called their soon to be SM "Cruella". It stuck in my head.

After that I used to joke around when I was in a bad mood that my alter ego Cruella was coming out. It was just perfect when I signed up for ST.

when I picked my name, so much of who I was, my frustration, etc was based on the 4 girls under 10 that live in my house- 2 mine and 2 not.

A family nickname, from my brother who was paralyzed when I was 12. It started from that, but became very much reflective of the painful self awareness I have possessed since I could first hurt someone's feelings or doing something wrong on purpose.

Ummmm.. mine is because I am located in MA and frustrated at my situation most of the time. I was especially frustrated the day I had come across this site. The name I use on other websites would have been too obvious should the psycho be looking!!

I tried just "Tired" but it was taken. I thought "Well I'm tired too!" Hence Tired2 When I came here I was sick and tired of all of the tension in my house and in my life. I was tired of all of the drama SD12 brought during her visits. I was just tired of it all...

I guess what I had in mind is I am sometimes stepping on egg shells, stepping around situations, stepping up to a new situation and experience, stepping back, stepping out. Step family life seems to have a lot going on that you need to be prepared to shift your position. You get the picture.
