Well Hell hath frozen over

Tonight my OSS21 called by to get some duct tape. We were chatting outside and I mentioned I am still concerned with him still smoking with his father's family of cardiac and lung issues and would love for him to try and give it up. I suggested Nicorette patches and he said his mother still covers him on her insurance and she had suggested it as well. I said he should take her up on it.
Then he left and came and gave me a hug and said "Love you ..." In the 10 yrs I have known this boy this is the very first time he has ever said that. Today is a good day. Tomorrow may be worse. But today is Smiling day
