Hi, all:
I wrote last Thursday and Friday about my husband's ex-wife wanting to rent the house across the street from us. My blood pressure was through the roof when DH told me she had called about it. Anyway, just wanted to thank everybody for your supportive words and let you know that the house was already rented!!! We have nothing to worry about.
We had some family and friends over Saturday night and my husband wanted to see what the reaction would be so he said, "Hey, guess what almost happened?" and told them. The collective reaction was, "WHAT?!" OK, some people used some not-so-nice words in addition to "What?!"... it was pretty funny.
To top it off in a very nice way, DH brought it up again yesterday and said that he sees my point even more clearly after getting the reactions of everybody the night before.
Yeah.....

How weird that she would have considered that to begin with. That would make me wonder her intentions. What a relief it was already rented or I would be moving myself
