Juno

For those of you have not seen it, you should take the time. If you have an uncooperative husband/boyfriend that would rather see "I am Legend", go by yourself like I did.

It's so good. Juno is even part of a "blended" family and the daughter of an absent, selfish BM. This movie hit home with me in more ways than I can express here...but there is a stepmom role that was done in such a realistic manner. Juno is a little smartass too, so plenty of laughs.

Go see it. I promise you won't be disappointed.

I did!

Friday night. All by my happy self, then I went to the bookstore and wandered around until close.

I want to see it too...

I just haven't had time to come up for air because I've been trying to keep busy by playing every imaginable Parker Brothers game out there with the kids...I'm keeping them close to me and holding on tight since my friend died two nights ago...(see blog of 1/9/08). By CG's description above of the plot, isn't it amazing how even the media has picked up on the fact that there are psychotic BM's out there in the real world? Art imitating life I guess you could call it?

Maybe if I see it, it will validate my feelings a bit about the BM who drove my friend to suicide. I'm sorry to keep bringing it up, it's just still so fresh on my mind and I know it will be for a while, but I promise that I will not keep bringing it up in every post and keep it to a minimum if I do.

Some men are like martinis: dry, very cold and they think they are fabulous because of the two olives dangling down at the bottom of their swizzle stick...Anonymous

I will

I have been debating going alone, or with my sister. DH would have no problem with going, but with a 2 year old and older kids (too old for a sitter to immature to leave alone or babysit BD) it makes it tough. My mom, my sister, my neice all work a ton and I always feel bad asking for a sitter to drop off BD on a weekend it's just us.

Peace, love, and red wine

I've heard good things about it too

I'd like to go see it with my bd. sd went to see it over the weekend. Apparently there is a part where Juno says, "your not my mom?" Anyway that is all she had to say about it.
