Step Talk

Ss 7 had a concert Thursday night. BM had emailed DH to ask him if he was asking his mother. We didn't even know about the concert because that info was in the folder when DH was out of town on business. By doing it this way she was getting ready to tell him she was going to if he didn't, then as history would have indicated she would have taken this opportunity to show us how MIL still loves her more than DH.

Well didn't happen... insert evil laugh. I know she ran into MIL in the hallway because she walked in a few minuets before us. Lucky me she sat next to me with SS10. MIL however sat between DH & me & held the baby the entire time. She was cordial but not overly friendly with her. It would appear that if my MIL has chosen a camp, finally it is ours. I am not sure if it finally sunk in that they can see all 3 grandchildren with us or only two with her. I also wonder if she knows BM took BF to meet her mother ( grandma) and maybe she too realized that's just wrong. I think when DH took his "vacation" from his family it hurt his mom the most & I don't think she wants it to happen again. They are even coming to dinner this Sunday to celebrate Thanksgiving as we don't have the boys that day & are having ours then.

After two years of hell in thia arena it is great to have two back to back wins. It gives a girl hope.
