Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1/2-1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
- 1/2 container of sour cream ( 8 oz or so )
- some milk ( maybe 1/4 cup )
- 1 pkg Hidden Valley Ranch dry mix ( I like to use the buttermilk recipe)
- 1 pkg extra wide egg noodles
- 1/4 stick of butter
Brown ground beef , drain & rinse
add cream cheese, milk & butter. cook on medium heat till cream cheese is melted. Add sour cream and HVR stir well simmer .
Boil egg noodles 10-12 min. I do this while i'm melting the cream cheese it takes bout that long. Drain noodles , return to boiling pot, pour beef mixture over the noodles
Notes
This is what my kids call this dish, it started out to be stroganoff but i just had to use things i had on hand one day and this is what happened, it is one of our favorite meals!! I serve it with corn and bread and butter. MY kids mix the corn with it and make sandwiches out of it ... good and quick!
