Well, this isn't a real big deal but it does prove a point. Ss's mother wants to act like we don't exist!
This week in red ribbon week and each day they wear something different to school that is fun. Well, Mon. was wear a tie to school. My ss was at his mother's house this weekend so she took him to school on Mon. My ss told me that he doesn't have any ties over at his mom's house and her ex-boyfriend didn't have any either. Now, my ss knows that he has multiple ties here and so does his dad. Do you think he even thought to call us and ask if he could use one. He says he didn't. I said that that is sad. I told him that just because he is at his mom's house, that dad doesn't disappear. He is always here and has whatever it is that he needs.
Ss's mother had to know that we had ties here but she would rather have ss not be able to participate, than to call us and ask for a tie!!!!

Sorry, I feel the need to comment on my own entry but I found out some funny information today.
My stepson told me that the necklace that he came home from his mom's house wearing was supposed to be a substitute for the tie he was supposed to wear to school. I asked him who told him that and he said his mom. I find that totally funny yet sad all at once!!
