It went about as we expected. DH has to pay roughly $8000.00 in arrears by the end of the month, and being that the custody will change in July, meaning that we will start our over night visits, the child support payment will take effect and DH will pay over $900 a month.
But, after we look at everything, we think we may be ahead due to the fact that BM1 dropped her CS and that gives us half of it right there, plus DH was already paying BM2 $400 a month previous to all of this, and we paid off our cars... no more car payments... so, we may be looking alright and actually have money IN our pocket! (Can you believe that?!?! I CAN'T! LOL). Plus, by the time Sept rolls around, DH plans to go back to mediation for more time, so the amount will drop more (Obviously, probably not by much though). Since SD is in a year around school, and the school is farther away from us, although there isn't any reason why I can't take her or drop her off. SS goes in later than she does, just means some juggling schedules for a few days until we get a system down... but he plans to work a schedule out where he picks her up after school on Fridays, we drop her off on Monday mornings at school as we do SS (except he's Mon to Mon, we have him all week), and then picking up school holidays, splitting time as necessary with BM2.
So, it's not horrible, and is what we expected. We fought for time and some provisions to be put on BM2, and we got them. So all you DADS out there... IT CAN BE DONE. It just takes TIME.

NCP should have rights too! DH and I are waiting on pins a needles for BM to be served for modifications and custody change..Everytime we have stepped into court agiants this woman she walks away with a little more victory and encouragement to continue her crap..as she is a habitual liar and presents herself as a constant victim to the courts or anyone who will listen and it gets bought by these judges...( very discouraging, when we tell the truth in the courtroom only to have her shit bought agian.)So of course we are nervous about having to go through this agian with her, but we pray for the best as this is the first time WE have taken her to court, every other time its been her draggin us in. Hearing your outcome and the fact that a father came out on top ( so to speak) is very uplifting to us...Thanks and hopes for continued good luck fo ya both.

My BF goes this Wednesday. His first time asking to pay only what he should. Won't it be nice. I feel the same way. I'ld like to see more money in our pockets.
