Easy Cinammon Sugar Tortilla Chips

Any Occasion | Bake | Desserts

Servings:
3-4
Preparation Time:
0.25 hours
Ingredients

  • Plain or wheat large Tortillas
  • Cinnamon Sugar (store bought or mix it yourself!)
  • Butter or vegetable oil spread
  • Cool Whip (optional)
  • Minced Strawberries (optional)
Cooking Instructions
This is the easiest dessert ever!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Butter the tortillas, just enough to coat (I use Smart Balance, healthy and still tastes good)
Sprinkle cinammon sugar evenly on buttered tortillas
Cut like a pizza into 6-8 triangles (a pizza cutter is easiest!)
Bake on a cookie sheet for about 8-10 minutes until tortillas are lightly browned
Remove and let cool (tasty when warm, painful when hot!)

Notes
My 6 yo stepson loves these and they are always a big hit. To dress them up, top with a Cool Whip dollop and minced strawberries or keep Cool Whip in a dish for dipping.

Great dessert to follow latin style dinners. Enjoy!

People often find it easier to be a result of the past than a cause of the future.
