Ok, does anybody want in on this? How many times do you think biomom will call my husband this weekend? She has had my stepson since after school yesterday. So far we are up to two calls.
Guess what the latest problem is? Biomom said that stepson lost his retainer case some where in her house last night. Get this....here is the good part.....sometime after dinner but before dessert!!! They have looked all over her house and can't find it. So she wanted to go to the orthodontist's office and get him a new one!!

I am so sorry but you have me about hysterically laughing about this completely idiotic biomom. So sorry that you are having this bad experience. I remember this BS so well. Does she have a freaking clue how much $$$ it costs to get a retainer replaced?? It's not cheap!!!! There's no way on earth I could possibly come close to making an accuracy guess on the # of idiotic phone calls you will get over the weekend. My suggestion would be to get an answering machine and go away for the weekend. Make plans for yourselves. Let her figure things out on her own. Pick up your stepson at the regular time or drop off as usual but don't indicate that anything unusual happened. If she mentions she called, just say you didn't get around to calling her back. Unless it's an emergency, she should be taking care of her responsibilities during her custody time. Finis! That's all there is. Keep this up for a few times and she will soon get the message. Try to find a way to enjoy yourself with your husband and don't let his ex-wife ruin your time alone!!! It'll be okay.

Biomom just wanted to replace the retainer case......so far. I am sure that the retainer is not far behind at this rate!! Especially when she takes him on vacation this summer.
Oh, and we do have an answering machine but she got it tonight when we were out. She just called my husband's cell phone. Of course he has to answer it. What do you know it was a very, very important question about her green beans!!(check out my other comment). Crazy!

Yes, tonight we received another call at 8pm. This time it was a green bean emergency!!
Biomom accidently put bacon bits in the green beans at dinner. Since it is lent (we are Catholic but bio isn't) she wanted to know if stepson could eat the green beans if she picked out the bacon bits!!!
Stepson is only 10 so he can eat meat anyway. We just don't at our house.
Oh, and while I am typing this, we are getting a call from biomom's cell phone. However, this time it is stepson so I guess we can't count that. Unless of course she made him call for some "problem".

Now we are up to 5 calls!!
The fouth call was to try and get out of bringing stepson to his soccer game. She called 45 min. before the game was to start and said they had other plans. Keep in mind that she agreed to let us sign him up, we paid for the whole thing of course. Also, my husband is the coach and he was short on kids. Stepson ended up coming because biomom knew she was in the wrong for trying to give such short notice! They knew about their plans for two weeks but didn't think to tell my husband.
I can't even remember what the 5th call was about. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

Yes, that's right. Call number 6 came in at 10:15pm last night. Biomom wanted to stop by and drop stepson's soccer clothes(dirty) off at our house. Stepson and biomom's two year old were asleep in the back seat of her car.
On a side note, my little dog peed on biomom!

Can your husband divert his cell to the home phone and answering machine? This is what we had to do, until BB stopped calling altogether. She would only call when she wanted to be verbally abusive, or she used to wait until DH called to speak with the kids and then hijack the call to scream at him.
Since we told her that we would be tape recording ALL calls with her, she has totally refused to call at all!!

The funny yet sad part............
now that stepson has come back here, we haven't heard anything from biomom. It is like, out of sight, out of mind.
I guess I can look at it as a good reflection on us. She isn't concerned about him when he is here. I seriously doubt that that is what she is thinking, but I can dream.
