Why is it always me that has to be the adult?
Sd18 totally ignores me and yet i get the bollocking for not speaking to her??
I am so tired of it all
i am sat on the sofa with SO and she cant be bothered to say hello when she comes in and walks past and yet when she says gdnite to SO i get grief for not replying!
This is so fucked up its unreal.
SO got in a strop when i said why should i when she hasnt got the manners to say hello in the first place!!

this used to annoy the everloving SHIT out of me, from yss. i just dropped the rope on that one. he says hi, bye or g'nite, i'll respond back. if he doesnt, oh well. when *i* walk in, i say hi to everyone, i dont give a shit whether or not he responds. it's become quite helpful, cuz it's actually a tool to gauge his mood from the moment i get home. so instead of a hill to die on, it's become a huge help.

Didn't I say good morning/nice job on the win (he's in a sport)/excuse me/goodnight?
"Yes"
Was that talking?
"Yes"
Did SS talk back?
"Twice"
Do I always respond if spoken to?
"Yes"
How is it again that I'm not talking to SS?
"Well...its that its not a long conversation."
It's not a conversation if the other person does not respond. When he has better manners perhaps you'll see more conversations.

Plus DH knows I have more patience/stubbornness when it comes to stuff like this and I'm up to the challenge of waiting out him and either of the skids.

Sd15 came in and said hello - we had a chat. When she said gd nite she came over a gave a hug gdnite. SO not said a word!
As soon as SD18 doesnt say anything and then comes back says gdnite as a general thing with headphones in. I get grief because i dont respond. Fuck that shit. She needs to learn some manners and im tired of SO saying i should be the adult!

Fuck that shit! I can't bloody stand rude kids. No what I'd do, if I say "hi" and they don't say "hi" back? Go right up and YELL it..so damn loud that people in Africa could hear me. Yell it so loud it shocks the living shit out of them.. make it a loud cheery.."HELLLOOOOO!!! How are YOUUUU!!". Goddamn it, rude people just do my head in.

Apparently she was making an effort!!!!
Honestly i have no idea what goes on in his brain apart from he thinks the sunshines out of her backside. We were in the car all together dropping her off and she mentioned she was off to the cinema. I asked her what film she was going to see. She did answer and after she left the car -SO said see she does make the effort and talk to you!!!
I couldnt care less if she spoke or not (actually i would prefer if she didnt) but if he thinks she is making the effort then god help us!
