Just wondering if Glen Campbell two kids are giving their Dads Wife hell? If so here it goes again .I think this is a day we as DADS WIVES will dread someday .
Very sad. I love Glen Campbell. LOVE him. Worked one afternoon with him (not really, he was there, I was there, work happened) and my respect for his ability to think on his feet and his sharp mind grew leaps and bounds. Thought his announcement of his dx was the most gracious thing I'd ever seen.
I wonder why only 2 of the kids are complaining? Out of 8, that seems a pretty small number. And, as tryingmom says, 32 years of marriage (for a man who once had the divorce lawyers on speed dial) is a pretty good credential. Not to mention their 3 mutual children.
I so want the lineman for the county to have a smooth ride to the last post. I hate to see this.
Since they've been married over 30 years I'm guessing their mutual children are adults and would be just as interested in Glen's welfare as the others so I would still call it 2 out of 8 of Glen's kids. Also, even counting it without her kids, you could say 3 out of 5 skids are NOT complaining.
I think his current wife used to be his best friends wife or something like that. There was a scandal years ago about it but I don't remember the details. This may be some of the fallout.
I read this and cringed. I think it is every spouse's fear in the event that their spouse has a lengthy time of passing as Mr. Campbell is going through. Goodness, I hope they everything that he wanted her to have jointly with rights of survivorship!
