I had posted last week about Ex coming to BS's wrestling match.

Just wanted to say that all was good

Ex came in and I was already down on the floor, so I pointed to what mat BS was on. Then I went back up to the bleachers. I spend a lot of the day going over to different families and kids and we all talk about the kids' matches, so I was all over the place.

Ex did come up and sit by DH and when I was there, it was small talk and all was good.

BS was happy to see his dad there. He kept looking up and seeing us sitting together and kept smiling. I know in his own mind (without any word from me at all) that he was nervous about both of his dads being there.

BS was awesome in that he didnt ignore DH (just because his dad was there) and I know that made DH feel good.

Ex's friend's wife was at the match later in the afternoon for her son. Ex was in their wedding and I knew them really well when I was with Ex. Now when Ex has to work, they keep BS for Ex, when BS is staying with Ex. So I did say hi to her and talked a bit. I appreciate that she keeps BS when he is with his dad for the weekend and I know that he is well taken care of.

Its unlikely that we will have many events like that, but I appreciate that we can all get along for the sake of BS and be in the same room together.
