"coincidence" in drop off time?

is it just me...'s picture

BM never ever drops SS off at our house. (Prob because I told DH I don't want her anywhere near MY home.) Today she just so happens to be dropping him off around the time FIL and bro-IL are going to be here...

Background: BM dated youngest BIL in college. He was smart enough to dump her ass. She met DH's family back then. BM got preggo at 27 and gave baby up for adoption (some other guy's offspring). My DH and her starting dating in their early 30s and she got pregnant. Guess he likes sloppy seconds. They got married. DH divorced her. So, even when I starting dating DH she was invited to his side of the family's get togethers once or twice (in the beginning - not anymore). DH's family is NOT her family anymore!

She has increasingly started to try and work her way into events DH and I and/or his family are at. She happened to be at a house warming party we were going to. SS called us from it and asked if we were coming while they were there. Um, no, sorry Frankenfreckle we will be attending much later in the evening. Oldest BIL is battling prostate cancer and FIL has been in town regularly. Her schedule is coincidentally working out I'm guessing so she can "just run into them." She is pathetic. Told me early on when I met her that FIL told her he adored her when they first met. Interesting, because he told me not long ago he thinks it's great she's a free spirit (immature, can't hold a job, can't parent, etc) BUT he said he has ZERO respect for her. They aren't your family BM! Get over it. If they really wanted to see you they would ask to!

Oh,

These coincidences keep piling up one after another. It almost ONLY ever happens when in-laws are involved. Occasionally when she knows I will be there. She never drops SS off, DH always picks him up. SS never calls regarding our attendance at anything unless BM is there.

She hasn't come by our house in a year or more probably.
