It turns out, there was the first woman before Eve-Lillith. She wanted to do her own thing, so she got cursed to become a demon and kill babies in their sleep and seduce teenage boys in their dreams and do all kinds of mayhem. Yep. Sounds a lot like BM- she pretty much did all that plus every horrid thing to DH and me and her own children.

Actually you are interpreting it a little wrong.
In Hebrew literature Lilith was the first woman created by god and was made as Adam's equal companion. Adam could not control her because she was her own woman and refused to bow to any man. Adam complained to god that he wanted a meeker wife, so god sent Eve in Lilith's place, crafting her from Adam's rib so she would always be subservient.
Many cultures see Lilith as the embodiment of female power and the goddess. Some patriarchal cultures cast her in a devilish, wanton, and conniving light. But that's so common- look at how people even today attempt to slut shame powerful and confident women who own and embrace their own sexuality.
If I ever had a daughter, Lilith was going to be part of her name.
