Is it his daughter or his stepdaughter? If it's his own child and she is underage, he should take her with him and tell his lawyer why.

I agree that he needs to be given a big push out of the house to stand a chance of getting himself any sort of self-supporting lifestyle. Besides that, I think everyone on here is a bit reactionary about the whole porn ring thing. First it sounds like the stepson doesn't have the brains or the staying power to follow through with any sort of plans let alone setting up a business, (producing, editing, distributing and marketing a product), which as unsavory as it is is what the porn ring is essentially. It just sounds like a teenagers dream way to make big money whilst meeting lots of women and watching porn all day long. Even if they do end up following through with their plans; there was no talk of minors being involved, there was no talk of the SS involving his little sister in it, and I presume he wasn't planning on filming at your house? Filming consenting adults having sex isn't a crime as far as I know, and I don't think distributing it requires a license either does it? (I could be wrong on that one). So unless there is evidence of people being coerced into it or minors being involved then I doubt the police would be interested.

That being said, being around him and his friends may not be the healthiest of situations for your daughter and you should do what you feel necessary to ensure that she is ok. Whether that is banning your stepson from using his camera in your home, banning his friends from your home or trying to get custody of your daughter when you leave.
