What a wacky week it's been here!

The events that come to mind:

1. Sm writing bm a letter. I'd rather walk on hot coals than write bm a letter telling her how I feel about her receiving what she is LEGALLY entitled to. Anyone who wants to come here and complain about BMs reaction to them telling her how they feel shouldn't expect much. Never let bm know she gets under your skin. And don't get into a dispute with bm over things the law finds her to be entitled to. If it's a big deal to the dh he should bring it up in court.

2. Beating up autistic/disabled kids. Anyone who beats the kid up instead of restraining them should truly be big Bertha's bitch. And they should be karma's bitch too. The facts are that most of these kids DON'T know better. They won't understand why the other person is beating them. People need to take that into consideration. If anyone attacked my visibly disabled, autistic cousin I'd make sure that person becomes prison cafeteria food. IDGAF if my cousin attacked them first. He doesn't know better.

He physically attacked

He physically attacked someone. And the person he attacked actually RESTRAINED him instead of attacking back. The person restrained him until things cooled down. Why go Rambo on someone who won't get why you're going Rambo on them? They won't understand restraining either but at least it'll prevent the situation from getting worse.

I can't just let it go...I have Aspergers and other relatives on the autism spectrum, so it struck a nerve with me.

It's easy to say you will

It's easy to say you will take down an autistic kid. But are you prepared to take down the army of family members that will rally to his/her defense?

Agreed. Anyone who hits my autistic cousin will have trouble finding a good job because they'll be followed by a criminal record. As will anyone else who attacks a disabled child in front of me or within my earshot.

I would defend myself the same way if ANYONE attacked me. Be it white, black purple, young, old autistic, man, woman ect. I would not stop to analyze if it is an autistic person.

And if I knew they were autistic, then I would try to restrain to a point. Unless, I felt I would physically not be able to restrain them. I certainly would not let them kick my ass.

My FDH's sister's son is

My FDH's sister's son is Autistic. He is 5. He went ballistic one day when they were trying ti leave the beach because he didn't want to leave. He spit in his mom's face. She slapped him in the face. He took off starting saying Fuck you ove and over again. He head butted FDH's mom. It took a 170pound man to restrain this 5 year old boy. But not until FDH had to chase him down in the parking lot.

I honestly can't say what I would have done if he attacked me or my own child.

His tamtrums have gotten way

His tamtrums have gotten way worse. I think, at that moment, she hit the end of her rope. I don't see how she does it on a daily basis. And he has started having seizures so she stayed up majority of the night that night to make sure he didn't have any. His seizures occur sometime after the tamtrum, if at all.

I was kicked in the face by

I was kicked in the face by an autistic patient.Broke my jaw.Needless to say I didn't hit him or beat his ass.He did have to be restrained though.There are alternatives to beating someone into submission even when you're hurt badly bc of them.But none of us truly know for certain what we'd do in that situation unless we've lived it.
