what a waste of a nice week off from school
SD13 is on vacation this week.
of course, she was supposed to be with us this week per the parenting plan but she of course refused to sleep over and fiance didnt want to push it and i didnt want her home alone during the day anyway so it all worked out.
so we've had GORGEOUS weather here in MA after an insanely long winter. A fantastic week to be outside biking, walking ANYTHING.
SD sleeps until noon and spends all.day.long. texting and playing on her ipad. HOURS. she does this until 2 or 3 am. 12-14 hours solid. her mother says its "typical teen" behavior and totally "normal".
my contempt and hatred of SD is becoming really obvious.... i dont like myself for feeling this way towards her especially since she is the way she is becuase of her parents.
at least i dont have to see her today, ill be out until after she heads home and we are away next week so i get another break from her (even tho i just had a break last week while fiance was away!)
i keep dreaming of a permanent break from her...

Lol... Normal teen behavior. That statement makes me want to puke. DH says it all the time to excuse his lazy ass kids never getting up off of their butts.
My two skids live here 24/7. My chances of a break are as good as my chances of winning the lottery!
The weather has been great where I live too! But skids are allergic to physical activity. They both do the same as your SD. Up all night... Sleep all day. I did some of the same when I was a teen, but geez, I loved to go outside!

but that ended at 14 once i had a job. i worked 40 hours a week during christmas, feb and april vacations as well as teh summer from 14 on.

its par for the course. her whole life she's been allowed to do whatever she wants because her parents want her to be happy. she dictated everything from where they vacationed, where they ate out, etc.
