What should my SO do about his oldest (SD14) and the fact that she has told him that she no longer will be coming to EOW visitation? She is full of drama and it's always something. She has been raised to be spoiled, self centerd, and she thinks that the world revolves around her. I blame the BM, SO, and his mother for this. He is at the end of this rope and is just ready to say if she doesn't come he is not paying CS anymore for her. I told him that ending CS was not that easy and he would have to give up all rights and still go to court for that. I think that he needs to force her to come and not once again let her have her way. It will never get better as long as he gives in. I'm at the point of saying if she doesn't come call the police and have them take action against BM.

No matter what he does about visitation, he cannot stop CS.

I am not sure about the police action, they will not always get involved, check with your local police department.

If there is a CO that spells out visitation, he can take BM to court for contempt. He needs to tell BM he expects his daughter to be ready to be picked up at the usual time. Keep doing that, document it, and charge BM with contempt if she does not comply.

I agree with this. Unless there is an abuse or neglect allegation, it's really the CPs who need to enforce visitation. It's pretty simple:

kid- mom, I don't want to go to dad's this weekend or anymore weekends
mom- I understand. Sometimes I don't want to go to work but I do because I have to pay the bills. You may not want to go to dad's, but he is your father and has a right to see you and we have a piece of paper that says his right to see you is EOWE so sack up sally, get your stuff together and I'll see you Sunday night.

Reality:

kid: I don't want to go to dad's this weekend or any other weekends
mom: Oh, that's okay my pwecious wittwel pwincess, you don't have to do anything that you don't want because I am your friend and cool and would never stand up to you as my child and tell you how it's going to be so long as you promise to love me more
