What's the Deal?

Ok, I found out from my ss yesterday when he came home from school, that over the weekend his mother took him to see the therapist. He probably wouldn't have even said anything but for some reason I just thought to ask. She has yet to call and tell us that she did this. She expects us to tell her whenever ss has any kind of appointment, yet she doesn't think she has too. Or does she just forget? I find it hard to believe that you can just forget to mention a therapist appointment. I mean she must have thought that ss needed to go to the therapist!

Not to mention the fact that ss is on my husband's insurance! What if there was a problem with the claim? We wouldn't even know that there was an appointment!!

I told my husband that he needs to call the therapist and find out what went on with his son.

Ss's mother has done this before, and then when we find out my husband calls her and she says she was just getting ready to call him. I told him, this time, let's just see how long it takes her to tell him, if she ever does!

I wish we could just have a standing agreement with the therapist that whenever ss has an appointment, we get a call from the therapist to tell us how it went. I guess that that isn't the therapist's job, though. I am sure the therapist just expects the parent bringing ss to inform the other parent.
