Well, I think I figured out (at least) part of why Sd11 has been so snarky. Apearently, her big sister told her that their mom is in rehab, and Sd thinks that "the Devil" is going to step up to the plate and be a good mommy again. (The real story is that 'ol rotten crotch is finally getting out of jail and is in a half way house.)

I'm not sure if Guardian Mom knows, or not but Sd's sister e even gave Sd some gifts at Christmas from their mom.

My mom told me the whole story of what happened at her house a few weeks ago...

Hubby works for my mom, and even if Sd doesn't like me, she loves my family. So, sometimes when Hubby is working I make arrangements for Sd to stay there (with her dad, my mom, and my step dad.) The last Sunday when Sd was here, Hubby and I were pretty broke, so Mom and my step dad invited us all for dinner.

When Hubby was ready to come get me, Sd started begging him not to come. My mom asked her what the problem was and Sd said she doesn't like me. Mom pointed out that I was her daughter, like Hubby is Sd's father, and Mom doesn't like it when Sd talks bad about me, just like Sd wouldn't like it if Mom was bashing Hubby.

Sd said it didn't matter, because she knew where her real mom is now.

(Sometime between her saying she didn't like me, and she knows where her real mom is, Hubby left. However, when Sd said she didn't like me, Hubby didn't say a damn word. Does anyone else think he should have? Something along the lines of. "You don't have to like her, but you have to be respectful, and that means not talking behind her back." Would of made me happy.)

Anyways, I talked to Guardian Mom about all of this. (Sd is currently grounded because she is acting out at home, to. She is lying to Gm, refusing to do her homework or clean her room.)

Gm confronted Sd about her attitude towards me, and the conversation with my mom. Sd11 said that she wants her dad to leave me so that Sd11, Sd13 (who none of us have contact with) and their dad and mom could live in my house together.

Hubby and I, then Gm and I discussed how Sd should be punished. Sd will be here the weekend of the 8th, and while she is here, she's not allowed to use the things I've bought her (Tv in her room, tablet, and cell phone) , nor is she allowed to barrow my laptop. She doesn't haven to like me, but she's not allowed to use me, either.

Sd is also not allowed at my mom's without me, either. Hubby is supposed to be working, and my mom is burnt out on her, after their talk.

Finally, I had told Sd that if she would just pick up after herself, we would forget her chores. I gave her three chances, but the last time she was here, I offered to do her laundry so she could go to work with Hubby. Well, not only did she not pick up after herself, but she yelled at me over the laundry. So the next visit she gets to start doing her chores again.
