So in response to what happened at court (earlier blog) from my husband trying to modify his order so he can get more time. Mom said she is not agreeing, so they had to go see a mediator. My husband had to pay 300 dollars. At the mediator she told him that she will not agree to meeting Scott because he abandoned her. he did not abandon her, he came to iowa initially while they were STILL together and then they split because they got into an argument. he never left his son, he was still going to see him. She also will not agree to letting us get him every other christmas saying she was in labor for 8 hours that is her right...

We have been to court so many times we can not afford an attorney so we went through the current order and changed it to how we would like to have it, tell me if I am missing anything or if we are asking for to much or if you can not understand something

So with today being a holiday Stepson did not have school. This was our weekend, and on Sunday morning biomom informed us to drop ss off with a stranger because she had to work and the other options for drop off we use were unavailable.

I know this is going to seem kind of confusing if you have not read my other posts but bear with me. My dead beat kids dad of 3 hired a private attorney to take me to court. Ok, so we had court depositions, and now this is what his lawyer is trying to do.

So I have quit having any communication with bio mom. My husband hates dealing with it. The other night she called, and was talking about me like she always does, expecting me to grab the phone and cuss her out, like I use to do.

So bio mom still hates me, after 4 years of being with my husband. In my last post I told you how she got mad and went to get a restraining order becuase I told her she needed to put her 5 year old son on a diet and quit giving him cheetos and coke as a snack.

I need SERIOUS opinions. As my close friends know my marriage is a DISASTER right now. Not becuase of my husband or myself but becuase of his childs mother. For the last four years I have been in court 4 times, had the police called 29 times, and now had DHS called on me becuase I told her her kid needs to go on a diet that he is obese. Cayden is 5. He is 89 pounds. He has complined his heart hurts when he is out running around, he can not run distance without panting and saying he needs to rest, and he has 4 rolls on his tummy. Not to mention rolls on his back. I AM A FAT GIRL, and I will not let my children suffer through obesity. If I can prevent it, it will be prevented! Problem is, we only have him 4 days of the month. One day his mother called while he was eating, and he said he was going to eat peas and her response was "Amie must have put sugar on them, you know you do not like peas" If we put healthy food in front of him it is like we are torturing him. It will take us literally sitting down next to him making him eat. He will nibble, but if he gets McDonalds he will eat is all up. Why I am I concerned about this? I looked at the growth chart and his height is in the 95% but his weight is not even on the page.....and kids these days are mean. I know he will get picked on. We bought him clothes for school and 5 days later his mom said they could not fit, so I told her he needs to go to a nutritional expert. Then she says Cayden will be big becuase she is big, but if you have seen my husban he is 6'6 220. And looks like a bean pole. SO that is not true. Then she has said she feeds him fast food becuase she is a single mom and does not have time to cook with her schedule. I was a single mom for 3 years, I know what it is like and my kids NEVER ate out like that. They were privledged to go to McDonalds. Scott said he is going to put Cayden on the track, but then when she asks about it he says he never said that. In my opinion, she is slowly killing her child by feeding him full of junk. Is it just me being an evil step parent? Or do I have reason for my thoughts?

So my kids dad is taking me to court because he doesnt want to pay all the child support he is paying. He thinks that now that Scott and I are getting married, his payments should get lower. So after the child support recovery unit denied his case he went and hired a private attorney.

So the BM and I seem to be getting along. Do not know if this is a show or not. We are getting married in July, and my fiance has been trying to switch the summer vacation so we have him for everything and while all the family is here from out of state.

I am 25, my fiance of 4 years and I have been planning our wedding for 2 years. We chose the date 7/7/07 because 7 is the Holy Day (and also my favorite number). I have 3 children of my own, but I also have a stepson who is almost 5.
