Hi,
I was reading all the entries today and what a day it was! We're all in different places but share similar stories. Some of us are just trying to survive, some of us have barely survived and some of us are thriving.

glynne's blogTake what you need and leave the restSubmitted by glynne on Fri, 08/08/2008 - 5:41pm.Hi, I was reading all the entries today and what a day it was! We're all in different places but share similar stories. Some of us are just trying to survive, some of us have barely survived and some of us are thriving. Did you watch "Desperate"?Submitted by glynne on Mon, 05/19/2008 - 5:31pm.Hi, It's been a long time since I posted anything but I had to write after watching "Desperate Housewives" last night. I have that kind of stepdaughter but unfortunately my husband cannot see it. The good news is that she is out of the house and my interactions with her are few. Articles in Oprah MagazineSubmitted by glynne on Fri, 05/11/2007 - 1:59pm.Hi All, Again A Happy Mother's Day - do something nice for yourself. Saw a couple of insightful ariticles in the current Oprah magazine. One is on HDP aka highly defensive people and how it is nearly impossible to get along with them. You make an innocent comment and it becomes a huge criticism and high drama. Sound familar? Also, a women writes in about her SD trying to alienate her from her husband. Dr Phil gives some good advice. The End of an EraSubmitted by glynne on Fri, 03/16/2007 - 4:17pm.Hi, My DH is moving out SD's things this weekend. Her room will be empty. A part of me wants to celebrate and a part of me wants to cry. It's been a long time coming. SD is 24 going on 12 and the typical manipulative, deceitful, high drama queen we all know or know of. SD is movin' on!Submitted by glynne on Mon, 03/12/2007 - 5:55pm.Hi, I wanted to update my blog. My SD is now out of the house, living with BM and has found shared housing for next month. YEAH!!! My husband and I are planning a get away and our marriage not only survived the SD's attempts at driving us apart and making me the bad guy - I think it is stronger. |
