I don't know if any of you out there find yourself doing this, but after the skids are gone, I completely get rid of any "sign" of their presence. Usually I have to practically disinfect the house b/c they are such slobs, but I put back all the "kid" stuff. I put away the "special" kid soap, the kid toothpaste, make sure all the skid toys are out of sight until the next visit. It's like I'm taking back my own house again and the hostage crisis is over. The cats get reassured that they are not coming back and it takes them about 4 hours to "get back to normal." I caught the youngest SS chasing the baby cat into my bedroom.

I just got IMed by my BF that he has picked up the youngest SS 5 1/2 (he couldn't wait for BM to drop him off at 6:30)

Normally he'll IM me back and forth when he gets out of work, but b/c the little "angel" is there, it will completely monopolize all of his time.

starting July 14th. About the same pay and shorter commute! Better hours (i'll have the house to myself again for a couple hours before work begins!!!! YAY!!! I can work out w/o BF examining everything I do!!! YAY!!!!!)

So can't really blog anymore as my access to citrix is gone and I don't want to use my home laptop for fear of BF catching on and reading my vents about his little "angels"

I'm actually writing from a home customer's computer that I'm cleaning for massive doses of spyware!

well this past friday, BF was bound and determined to rent some heavy equipment to do some major work in our backyard. I had a BAAAD feeling about this knowing the skids would probably show up for father's day (BM and BF have a verbal "catch as catch can" arrangement, in others whenever BM feels like having skids over for time sharing; or when she's in the mood for free babysitting)

That BF and I had agreed to last July when BM and skids conspired to make a phoney child abuse charge against us. This is very symbolic b/c I received about 2 nano seconds of support from BF with the new house rules. I honestly thought we were making progress, until skids had a major fit b/c we made them eat meatloaf and "wouldn't come" any more. IN fact youngest SS 5 (now 5 1/2) specifically said that he would come over ONLY IF WE DIDN'T SERVE MEATLOAF anymore!!!

The youngest SS 5 1/2 we'll call him "Junior" showed up this past Friday that BF and I took off from work (BF verbally agreed to this like on FRIDAY MORNING, as usual I was NOT consulted)

By 2 pm Friday, we were riding Junior home to our house and he stayed until Monday late morning when BF decided that we weren't really getting any work done b/c of Junior. BF fed Juinor "special" junk food meals that he would eat (chicken nuggets, hotdogs, blue box mac and cheese, bologna and cheese sandwiches, cookies and choco ice cream and soda)

And the skids were a complete no-show last weekend. Oldest SS11 had "fibbed" for BM and told us that BM would be dropping them off; NOT! He's covered for BM in the past.

Example: SS knowing that BM was launching a fake child abuse report against BF and still telling BF that they were coming over on the weekend with NO mention of the "onslaught" to come; only to have BF receive the call on Friday from CPS just before pick up that he was not to pick up his kids for visitation and that he was under investigation for abuse!!!
